The master bedroom enjoys rural views from dual aspect windows, the family bedroom, which has twin beds ideal for the children, has a staircase leading to a galleried sleeping area and a bathroom for the adults. The third and fourth bedrooms continue with the original features, including traditional clawfoot bath and separate dressing area. From the landing, a further staircase leads to a fifth bedroom within the attic space, where the large picture Velux windows bring in the view. A dressing area leads from the bedroom area to the en-suite bathroom.

Overall I would give this 8/10. Its spacious, clean, nicely decorated, nice bathrooms with every bedroom. The downstairs accessible bathroom was great for my in laws 88 and 89 years. Lovely beds and linen. Plenty of hot water. However there are some minuses firstly it’s on a very busy road, the Ariel photograph leads you to believe it’s rural but in that tree line is a noisy heavily used road. The garden is well fenced but has a bar gate that needs some chicken wire tacked to it as the dogs could escape. We had a very scary moment with a horse trotting by. Lots of nettles in the garden needs somebody to take a strimmer to it. Kitchen needs some added equipment. A good set of knives and more than one set of saucepans. I would have liked some serving dishes as well. The dining table has a table felt to protect it so you need to use table cloths, however every one was dirty and they had been shoved into a cupboard. We washed them all but then left them out when we left to be laundered. The bin was full and wasn’t emptied until Tuesday. The house had a feeling of not being loved, for some reason many of the taps were loose and needed to be held with one hand whilst turned on with the other. There was a wasp nest close to the seating area outside so sitting out was a nightmare. We did report this and when the pest control man came out apparently he found another nest and didn’t deal with the one causing the problem. The pool table didn’t have a full set of balls and the internet didn’t work, we rang twice about it and it was finally fixed on Thursday. It probably only needed to be reset but it’s locked away so you can’t get at it. Netflix didn’t work either. 8 out of 10 is fair I would go back.

Response on behalf of the Agency; Thank you for your review and it will be passed onto the Owners so we can address some of the items required. We are sorry that pest control found another wasp’s nest and not the one causing you the issue. The property is set back from the road and the location clearly shown on the website.
