Its a lovely house and an ideal base to explore the area. We had some awesome days at Camber sands. You do need a car though. The road outside the house does have fast cars passing through at times so I was little nervous walking into the village with children, some local roads have no pavements if you're a runner like me. The pub & shop are great, and felt very safe during the pandemic. Barry was helpful with queries etc. I've booked to stay in the area again but somewhere with a big garden for my boys! Lovely part of the world I'd recommend it.

Beautiful and well equipped cottage. Very clean with a homely, calm feel. Lovely lounge with large comfortable sofas. Table football is a master stroke in games room. Small cottage courtyard garden is attractive with beautiful plants + Iden has a lovely recreation ground near the Church. Double glazing and single storey kitchen shields any noise from the adjoining road to the house and garden. Main bedroom is spacious, the other 2 bedrooms and main bathroom are compact but comfortable and attractive. Would definitely return. So easy to access the many delights of Rye, Camber Sands & Winchelsea within 10-15 minutes. Owner is extremely diligent with helpful information and assistance about the property and local places of interest.
