Impressive Sedgeford Hall is set in a secluded location, in the heart of a 1200-acre farming and shooting estate in a beautiful valley. Built in the reign of Queen Anne, and completed in 1713, Sedgeford Hall is built of local sand-coloured brick. The setting of the hall is stunning, with expansive grounds, encompassing lakes, woods and parkland. The West Wing is the largest part of Sedgeford Hall and has a stunning outlook over the park and towards the lake. The spacious, L-shaped living room has a cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for curling in front of on a cold winter’s night. The farmhouse-style kitchen is well-equipped and even has a range, ideal for cooking a family meal. There are seven traditionally decorated bedrooms, four of which have their very own en-suite. Children will love the large enclosed garden, and there is a barbecue available to enjoy in the warmer months. If you would prefer more space, you are more than welcome to explore the shared 6-acre gardens or 1,200 acres of farmland. Enjoy a swim in the shared indoor swimming pool, which is situated close to The West Wing. Even though the location is peaceful and secluded, Sedgeford Hall is just 5 miles from the beaches of Hunstanton. Explore this seaside town, with its many attractions to suit all ages, including a Sea Life Centre, traditional amusements and rock pools. Guests looking for more active pursuits, can enjoy watersports, tennis, golf, shooting and fishing, which are all available in the local area. Walking is a popular pastime in the area too, with the Peddars Way and Icknield Way also close by. If you enjoy historic buildings, why not visit Houghton Hall, Holkham, Sandringham or Anmer Hall, home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The West Wing is the largest part of The Sedgeford Hall and looks out onto the park and over towards the lake. It is nearest to the fantastic, indoor, heated swimming pool (see below for details of pool use).
