Just a stone’s throw from coastal walks and the harbour, this beautiful 1st floor apartment has been recently refurbished in 2020 to a high standard. Contemporary styling complements traditional features, with exposed stonework and oak beams. The property is light and airy enjoying sea views across the rooftops from the sea facing windows and Juliette balcony. The living space is open plan and oozes character. Comfortable teal sofas wrap around a log burning stove, with a dining area for cosy suppers. The shaker style kitchen is well equipped should you need to rustle up breakfast or supper. There are two en-suite bedrooms, with great beds and quality bedding ensuring a good night’s sleep. The super king size room can be set as twin on request, giving flexibility for sleeping arrangements. Out and about there are fantastic walks in either direction right from the door. A coastal path will take you from the harbour through meadowland towards the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle and onwards towards miles of golden beach to Newton-by-the Sea and beyond. Explore Craster, the working harbour, take home some Craster Kippers from the nearby smoke house and delicatessen or browse around the art gallery opposite. There is so much to see and do on the Hertitage Coastline, making this an excellent holiday base for touring, bird watching, walking, fishing and golf. Craster is within easy driving distance to Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh and all Northumberland’s attractions. At the end of a day of exploring, be sure to take a short stroll to the village pub. With a lovely ambiance you can choose from an excellent range of seafood dishes and local ales. Beach 250 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
