Surprisingly spacious accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting with views over the fields. The owners were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the visits from the friendly farm dogs and a couple of chickens. The local superstore just down the road was a bonus for shopping, stocking an excellent selection of quality ready meals, easy for self catering. A good base to explore the area. The lack of wifi could be an issue for some guests.

A quaint little cottage for two persons set in a beautiful, rural, peaceful location on a working farm. The cottage is well equipped, comfy and has a patio leading directly onto a field of sheep. There is ample parking close to the property which is detached from the farmhouse and nearby converted Oast House giving you total privacy. The owners are very friendly, helpful and approachable. The cottage looks quite small in the photo but the kitchen cum lounge is surprisingly large and roomy. We enjoyed a daily walk across the fields and visits from the lovable farm dogs. The local 'superstore' in the village about half a mile away was extremely well stocked with superior foods etc. I do not recommend the local, 'The Cock Inn' just beyond the shop, which has a caravan site to the rear.

Beautiful property and location. Very peaceful and relaxing . Enjoyed breakfast outside most mornings, feels very private ,lovely view of the fields . Watched family of buzzards most days . Friendly dogs on the farm give you a warm welcome. Owner was very kind in allowing us to charge our EV from the property . The bed is very comfy . Lots to explore in the area, our first visit to East Sussex, would like to return. Recommend Rye and vineyard tour at Sedlescombe is excellent.

A peaceful, get-away-from-it -all holiday. We sat on the patio and just watched the countryside and the sheep and the stars at night with no light pollution. Beautiful. Very relaxing holiday.
