This beachfront holiday home, renovated in 2022, comfortably sleeps six people and has breath taking views of the sunrise and sunset over the sea.

Choose Stones Throw Cottage for your holiday and you will find yourself footsteps from the beach and just a short walk to the thriving town centre. Completely renovated in 2022, this stunning holiday home features a spacious kitchen/dining room and a cosy living room with sumptuous seating for everyone in your party. There are three bedrooms, a family bathroom and a lovely snug in the attic, perfect for chilling out with a book whilst enjoying the relaxing sounds of the sea.
The beachfronted house is a cosy, warm, characterful self-catering, lovely old fisherman’s cottage completely renovated but maintaining all the original feel and features with a stunning uninterrupted sea view which really is a stone’s throw from the terrace where you can watch the sunrise and set over the sea. Walk from the terrace area for 30 seconds and find yourself in the sea. A swim in the morning sun in the calm, deep blue, North Sea then nip back to the house for a warm cup of tea and a hot shower. Eat breakfast outside in the front terrace and watch the sunrise over the sea. Then at the other end of the day relax with a glass of wine, watch the sun set over the sea, and stargaze in the peace and tranquillity, free from the harsh lights of the city. A truly intimate and magical experience.
Sheringham itself is a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. It has award winning blue flag beaches, cliff top walks, a brand-new leisure centre with a pool open to the public, woodland and cliff top walks and a cliff top golf course. It boasts a great mix of high street and boutique shops, as well as lots of cafés, restaurants, bistros and inns. In fact, you could head out on foot to eat every evening and find something new to delight you, whatever your tastes or budget. The wide sandy beach will tempt you too whether you are sunbathing in summer or enjoying a bracing walk off season. The town itself plays host to lots of entertaining events throughout the year, including a 1940’s weekend, the Viking Festival and its summer carnival.
Here you will also find Sheringham Park, which offers 1000 acres of varying habitat including woodland, parkland and cliff top. In addition, you can take a steam train journey along the coast. It also has a mainline train station which will take you to nearby Cromer with its many seaside attractions. You can also visit Wroxham, which is considered by many to be the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, and on to the medieval city of Norwich, which is well worth a visit. All of these are within easy reach by car too, as are a plethora of coastal habitats such as salt and clay marshes, rolling sand dunes, picturesque quays and sand and shingle beaches.
Add in attractions such as Cromer Pier, Amazonia Zoo, Bewilderwood, the Thursford and Mucklburgh Collections, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, RSPB Clay Marshes, the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, and a host of other great things to see and do, and you are sure to be back just to fit everything in. And what better place to return to than beautiful Stones Throw Cottage? Pubs, shops and restaurants within 300 yards.
