Strickland Manor is a fabulous, detached, large country house which can accommodate large walking groups and family gatherings. Situated in the small, rural village of Great Strickland in the Eden Valley, just two miles from the Lake District National Park and six miles from Ullswater. It benefits from easy access to the M6, peaceful country lanes for cycling and walking on the Lakeland Fells or Pennine Hills. There is a village pub serving food, 100 yards from the house and excellent amenities in Penrith, five miles. Disabled guests with mobility problems can take advantage of the ground floor bedroom, with disabled friendly wet room and level access for wheelchairs. Shop and restaurant 6 miles, pub 110 yards.
