This amazing and spacious property offers fantastic views over the surrounding area and is a short walk to the beach.

This impressive, spacious, period seaside villa, one of a pair, with elegant, high quality furnishings and a warm friendly atmosphere, is ideal for extended family gatherings or groups of friends, and the family pets. It is owned by the Webbery Estate (other properties nearby - refs HPPR, HPPS, H81, HDDP, HDDN, HDDQ, HDDO and HMMN) and has been beautifully transformed into holiday accommodation. The views from this property are spectacular, and reach across the estuary, the beach and to the River Torridge. You will never be far away from magnificent views in this property! Relax in the elegant living room, made cosy with rugs on the wooden floor, and a TV. The large bay window provides just the spot to settle down and watch the world go by.

If you prefer a little bit of peace and quiet, there is also a small reading room overlooking the garden, where you can escape with your Sunday paper or a good book. The spacious kitchen and dining room is perfect for hosting a family get-together, and here is where you will find a delightful welcome pack waiting for you on arrival.

Be sure to make the most of this superb location and stroll along to the beach, just a short walk away, where the fresh sea air is sure to tire out children and pets. Or walkers and cyclists amongst you may wish to venture out on the Tarka Trail, found right on your very doorstep. To replenish rumbling tummies, take a stroll to one of the nearby restaurants and enjoy some delicious fresh seafood. If you prefer to dine al fresco, head back to The Captains House, stock up the barbecue and enjoy the evening sunshine in the quiet, peaceful garden with patio.

At the end of the day, snuggle down into one of the comfortable bedrooms and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. Traditional, steep, narrow stairs lead to the twin attic bedrooms, with sloping ceilings, and one with a feature round window. In the morning, awaken feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. With many rooms enjoying sea views, you will never get tired of appreciating the location of this lovely villa.

The house was very spacious with plenty of off road parking. The Captains house was clean and had everything we needed. Some of the rooms could do with a a little bit of attention but have to say all in all a nice house to stay in. With a small beach in walking distance. However Instow lacks a few gift shops/ somewhere to wonder round. The welcome pack received was very much appreciated and we were made very welcome.
