This is a really lovely, comfortable cottage. It is super clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed a lovely weekend here and spent some of our time sitting in the pretty courtyard garden enjoying the delicious cakes! Thank you. Judy and Brian are great hosts and are both very thoughtful. We hope to return again soon.

It was wonderful to escape to The Coach House for a few days - our first break since lockdown. It's a beautifully appointed cottage with a newly upgraded small garden. Judy and Brian were excellent hosts. I think we were the first guests they'd had since re-opening and everything felt very clean and safe.

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely little cottage with everything provided, including scones and jam, Sherry, tea, coffee and even milk. All kitchen equipment provided, could not fault the place at all. Would definitely consider a return stay. Brian and Judy were great hosts.

I felt the description misled the renter the enclosed garden is smaller than my patio previous guests empty wine and milk bottles left in the garden having stayed at many cottages I feel this is overpriced

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We were very sorry to read this review as it is important to us that all our guests enjoy their stay and are completely satisfied with the facilities we offer. The private garden isn’t large, but has room for a table and chairs and a wooden bench seat, however we will ensure the description is amended to make it clear that it is a courtyard garden. The recycling issue was, on this occasion, an oversight on our part for which we sincerely apologise. To save guests the bother, we deal with all aspects of recycling including leaving a bag for bottles, which we take away for emptying and this appears not to have happened. As other reviews suggest we are always available to help guests if they have any concerns and to ensure that things are in good order. Please be assured that we will make the changes we mention above to ensure we continue to maintain those high standards.
