We did not expect "amenities" in this lovely quiet village, but hoped for, and got, a well appointed, well equipped, comfortable cottage. The owners could not have been more welcoming and were on hand but not intrusive. They had also thought of everything a guest might need. The cottage has very thick walls, so got a little cool by early evening in September, but there were heaters and hotties. A delightful stay.

Very nice, to be recommended. It was the second time, and we are considering to return next year.

We just love the Coach House. The pictures make it look small but its plenty big enough for 2 plus pooch. The hosts Sue and Richard are welcoming and helpful but not at all intrusive. The village is near and a nice pub a 3 minute walk away but the cottage itself is quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful little cottage, however the shower is not practical for anyone over 5’10. The smell from the pantry cupboard in the kitchen was also pretty awful. We had a lovely break, and these things didn’t spoil our 4 nights at the cottage, other visitors just need to be aware of them. Local Deli called the Pantry is fantastic, the George Inn wasn’t.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the Coach House but saddened that you experienced some shortcomings. Regarding the smell in the kitchen cupboard, it was from an open box of firelighters. Although I was not around during your stay, I asked that you contact me or my cleaner if you had any problems at all. We did not hear from you, but If we had, we could have sorted the problem for you in seconds. Regarding the shower, space can be a little limited for taller guests because of the confines of a partially sloping roof. Thank you for pointing it out and I will make it clear in the cottage details on the website.
