This stunning property, set within 100 acres of grounds, has access to a shared outdoor swimming pool and is within a short drive of the coast.

The Coach House dates back to 1780 and is set in the grounds of Geldeston Hall, the owner’s home. This semi-detached property with its high ceilings downstairs and exposed beams upstairs has been lovingly restored and renovated, a world away from its start in life as a carriage house with stabling.
On arrival, you will make your way up the impressive approach road past the main house and under an arch to the working yard behind, shared with the owner and another let property. The Coach House faces south, and tall windows fill with light the double-aspect living room, with comfortable seating for all the family, and in the upper part, which is more of a snug, an open fire. French doors open from the living room onto the Coach House’s secluded garden, enclosed by low railings. Upstairs in the original hayloft there are two bedrooms with bathrooms along with two further doubles with shared shower room. In the summer, equestrian events take place on the park, and guests can follow walks within the woods and parkland around the house. Shared access to the owner’s glorious outdoor swimming pool is included.
You are located on the north side of the Waveney Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the borders of Norfolk and Suffolk. The charming village of Geldeston is a short walk away, and the local pub offers an excellent pint from the local brewers, Adnams, as well as good pub food. The inn at Geldeston is a longer walk, on the western end of the navigable area of the Norfolk Broads National Park. From the boatyard in Geldeston you can hire a boat, and the coast is about half-an-hour’s drive to the east, making the seaside towns of Southwold, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft within easy reach. To the north the historic city of Norwich offers culture, history and entertainment for all. Beach 11 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
