This detached, spacious and charming old mill will suit a wide range of guests. Formerly an old corn mill, the building has been sympathetically restored to provide a great holiday home. Ideal for a couple wanting to spoil themselves with the space and comfort or for a family group. With a large open-plan living area, there are two adult bedrooms as well as a third children’s bedroom/games room.
Set in the peaceful hamlet of Bugford in North Devon, The Corn Mill is a great place to head out from to enjoy all that this area has to offer, as well as a very comfortable base to return to after a busy day walking or enjoying the local beaches and coastline. Guest have access to 2 acres of lawned grounds which includes a good-sized fishing pond to enjoy during your stay. North Devon has a lot to offer visitors. Not only the unspoilt countryside and dramatic coastline but some of the best beaches in the country, which are only a short drive away. The highlights in the area include Lynton and Lynmouth with the Victorian cliff railway, the seaside town of Ilfracombe, rock pooling at Combe Martin and the regional town of Barnstaple with its famous Butchers Row and pannier market. There is plenty of walking on nearby Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path and for guests with children, The Big Sheep makes for a fun day out. Golf, horse riding and sea fishing are all available locally. A fully qualified sports and holistic therapist can be arranged (at cost), offering treatments from the comfort of the cottage. The Corn Mill (UKC223) is located next to Mill Meadow Cottage (HHHY) and both can be booked together to sleep up to 8 guests.

Eight steps to entrance. Double bedroom with super kingsize, zip and link bed (can be twin), pull-out single bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements) and TV. Double bedroom with kingsize bed, TV and en-suite shower room with toilet. Bathroom with freestanding bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Utility. First floor: Open-plan living room/dining room with French doors to balcony and kitchen with breakfast area. Wooden floor throughout. Twin bedroom/games room (for children only) with TV.
