The Gallery is a spacious, beautifully appointed property in a great location with stunning views. We travelled as a couple with a dog and had a perfect week. Gail and Kim the owners were really helpful and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. Whilst Portmellon itself is only small with a pub and food stall by the beach, it is only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Mevagissey with lots of great options to eat. A 10 minute drive took us to the Barley Sheaf, a gastro pub, offering great food, fantastic value. We visited twice in the week. A visit to Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the ferry for Fowey were all great days out. But the best thing to do is to walk the coastal paths and take in the amazing views. Heaven. Already recommended to friends.
