Excellent spacious cottage with a lot of atmosphere. Beautiful for walking and a romantic getaway. Only two minute downsides (for me): no shower and no wifi.

My partner booked the lodge as a birthday surprise for 2 nights in Jan. We were delighted with the accommodation, so many interesting things to look at within the lodge and of course 3 minute drive to Bourton on The Water. Lovely views and ample parking. Although it was cold weather the lodge was nice and toasty the whole time. By far one of the quaintest places we have stayed and will come again in the future. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful break away.

The lodge is located in a peaceful area close to Bourton on Water. Great for walks. Loved the inside of the lodge with all the bits and pieces in there. Would definitely visit again

We found The Hunting Lodge fascinating with its walls of painting and ornaments, unusual furniture. But, we were shocked when removing the bedding to help the cleaners to discover the state of the pillows and bed protectors, they were both badly stained. The setting was beautiful and we would like to revisit but we will be checking the bedding at the beginning of the week rather than at the end! Thank you for a lovely holiday.
