Nice area for walks ( we did Roseberrytopping to Cooks monument, Robin Hoodsbay, Staithes to Port Mulgrave, the walk to the Foss teagarden ( just from the cottage). We enjoyed the rose queenceremony. The cottage is well equipped with many cookery utensils and baking bowls ( even cupcake baking pans). Julia and John, the owner do everything to make your stay a plaesant one. Fresh flowers in the rooms, milk, chocolates, cookies, tea and coffee on arrival. Beautiful ( shared) garden with may benches you can sit on. For groceries we would recommend Sleights which has a very good butcher and a bakery ( and very small Spar)
