Cottage had the appearance that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were several obvious cobwebs. The bin in one shower room had not been emptied and the bin in the kitchen had rubbish under the bin liner. The oven was very greasy as were the oven trays. Some of the crockery was tired looking and chipped. Both shower cubicles need a complete refurbishment.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that our usual high standards of cleanliness were felt to be lacking on this occasion. We have updated the cleaning schedule to itemise the bins individually and the 2 cobwebs in the gabled ceiling that caused upset have been removed. There was a guest BBQ prior to your visit and 2 plates were chipped, unfortunately we did not pick this up prior to your arrival. All crockery and utensils have been checked and we have added some new items for guests to use and enjoy. We also now employ the services of a professional oven cleaning service following your comments. The bathrooms are updated every 2 years and are currently booked in for a refurb. In the meantime we keep them scrupulously clean. Thank you for your comments which we use to continually improve our property for the enjoyment of our guests.
