The picturesque High Street nurtures a wide selection of amenities, including a supermarket, award-winning butcher, traditional grocer, a micro-brewery, several quality pubs, and a variety of restaurants. Tourist highlights are the National Nature Reserve at North Meadow, home to the rare ’Snakeshead Fritillary’ flowers in the Spring and singing skylarks and the splendid 12th-century church, plus the Swindon & Cricklade Steam Railway.For those wishing to be more active, there are plenty of opportunities locally including golf, horse riding, a gym and indoor swimming pool. The surrounding countryside makes this an ideal location for walking, running, or cycling.
