We enjoyed staying at the Tallet .It was homely and warm.I enjoyed living on a working farm .Thankyou for the wine, cake and extras. The bed linen did not smell fresh,it smelt stale and I didnt look too closely below the sheets or at the quilt !would return for another break though.

Our stay was for 3 nights, and The Tallet was ideally located to watch the Severn Bore, which was the purpose of our visit. It’s an attractively converted building, which has been thoughtfully decorated and fitted out, and being on the edge of the owners farm, we enjoyed watching the hens with chicks, and the cows across the road. There was a welcoming selection of goodies when we arrived, and even the nice touch of a jug of milk in the fridge.

A lovely cosy cottage with all you need for a comfortable stay. Owners left a tray of essentials to start us off for the week i.e coffee, tea, milk, eggs wine and some lovely cake. Good local walks and the Red Lion Pub at the top of the road was welcoming with great food. We had a lovely week in this cottage and would recommend it, we would stay there again.

Had a great time staying there. It is a quiet part of Gloucestershire, near the River Severn, which allowed some super walks. The local villages like Frampton were also incredibly attractive. The Gloucester canal also was very picturesque and offered good walking. There are a lot of interesting places within easy access, such as Gloucester Cathedral and many National Trust places to visit. The local pubs in Arlingham, Frampton and Saul were very good, offering really good food at a reasonable price.

Great upside-down holiday cottage, with a thoughtful welcome pack from the owners including some extra dog waste bags which were very handy! For us what let the property down was not having an enclosed garden space for the dog, this would have made it the perfect stay - it would have been a lot easier to be able to just let him out rather than having to walk him up the road to do his business. The Tallet is opposite the owners house which has garden space but sadly not fully enclosed with direct access onto the road. They also had free range chickens which the dog was very interested in! Some great walks directly from the cottage and nice local pubs but if you wanted anything more you’d need to drive to surrounding villages. A good quiet rural location.
