Beautiful cottage next to an asparagus farm. Brown hares were a special treat for us on the farm and lots of birdlife. Nearby Courtyard Farm had beautiful walks through wildflower meadows and woods - enjoyed seeing the variety of insect-life. The cottage had comfy beds, good bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The very pretty enclosed garden is especially good for anyone with a dog. Very clean and nice touch of a fridge stocked with a bottle of prosecco and pint of milk. I think before we went we had seen a floorplan of the house that showed you had to go through the main bedroom to reach the bathroom but this isn't now the case - an ensuite with main bedroom and another upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower. As is usual in a holiday cottage (why?), lacked big mugs and good bread/chopping knives, but a trivial issue and otherwise everything you could want. Rather missed having any local guide leaflets or a visitor's book for seeing other visitors' recommendations.

Thank you for your review. Sorry there were no local guide leaflets or visitors book. I have got some now. They were taken out during the pandemic. I am sure you understand. Also I have bought a few extra sharp knives. Thank you for your feed back.
