My husband and I loved our week at Tranquility cottage. A great location to visit Lulworth cove and Durdle Door. Which were breathtaking! The cottage is clean, cosy, comfy and very well equipped. The open fire was so lovely of an evening with a glass of wine. (Thank you for the couple of logs, we purchased more from Kate’s farm shop a short drive away). Yes as others have said, it’s a little noisy in the cottage as it’s on a busy road, but i just got some earplugs and slept really well. The bed is super comfortable. Our dog, Misty, loved the large, enclosed garden. We had no problem finding somewhere to park almost opposite. There is just one shop in the pretty village of Winfrith Newburgh, its a very short walk away from the cottage and it sells some wonderful sweet treats :) Unfortunately the pub was closed for the week we were there. The cottage looks very small from the outside but the rooms are surprisingly large. We would definitely book to come back.
