This old-world feel is complete with vintage crockery and cutlery, so after a hearty meal round the dinner table, the youngsters can pitch in to clean the dishes, giving mum and dad a bit of downtime in the luxurious hot tub (please bring your own towels). The bedrooms are themed to suit all manner of visitors, and in the morning, you won’t be disappointed with an al-fresco breakfast in the sun at the top of the garden. Sure enough, no detail has been overlooked.Somerset offers holidaymakers a large array of things to see and do, with trips aboard the steam train along the West Somerset Railway, the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, National Trust-owned properties including Dunster Castle, and a range of scenic walks from the Dunkery and Horner Wood National Nature Reserve to the Exmoor Heritage Coast. If you’d rather stay a little closer to home, Minehead town centre features a number of charming shops and welcoming pubs. Live like the locals and take a stroll along the promenade. With an ice cream in hand and a beach towel under your arm, you’re sure to spend a long day on Minehead’s sandy beach with a smile on your face.
