This beautiful detached house is ideally located near the village of Gurnard, just ½ mile from the beach. On the ground floor there is a relaxing snug with a double sofa bed, beanbags and games console so the younger ones can chill out. There is also a large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area which adjoins a comfortable living area, conservatory and downstairs cloakroom.
On the first floor the master bedroom offers a super kingsize bed with double doors opening out onto a private balcony with lovely views of the garden and an en-suite with oversized bath and shower. There are two further bedrooms with bunk beds and an extra single bed sharing a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom with walk-in rain shower. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms both with Juliet balconies with views of the park, sea glimpses and a shared bathroom.
There is parking for several cars on a gravel driveway. Guests can enjoy leisurely meals al fresco on the furnished decked area and children and dogs can play in the large enclosed lawned garden which also conveniently backs onto Northwood Park, host to a range of summer events including The Wight Proms, Gin Festival and the Literary Festival.
The property is just a 5-minute walk from the historic and vibrant resort of Cowes and within easy reach of the Red Jet Ferry Terminal, restaurants, bars and boutique shops. Take a walk or cycle along Cowes Esplanade to Gurnard Beach to grab an ice cream or go crabbing at low tide. Great family days out include Tapnell Farm with its Aqua Park, Robin Hill Country Park and Blackgang Chine Theme Park. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant ¾ mile.
