Webbery Manor Estate is a historic Saxon manor listed in the Domesday Book, high in the hills above the Taw and Torridge estuaries. Set in 30 acres of parkland and woods, with grazing sheep, deer, owls, pheasant, birds of prey and other wildlife. On clear, sunny days you can see Exmoor and Lundy Island. Delightful gardens have specimen trees, and rhododendrons, and the walled kitchen gardens have complimentary seasonal produce. If you are looking for that cosy romantic retreat, than Garden Cottage is just the place for you. Cosy up in the comfortable living/dining room with oak floors, create wonderful meals for two in the lovely kitchen with oak work tops and slate floor. Or just snuggle up in the comfortable French inlaid bed! When you are feeling refreshed, why not give the shared tennis court a go? Or for alfresco dining there is the shared barbecue and gazebo, for those long summer evenings. If you can bear to tear yourself away from the estate, the sea is never far away. With long sandy beaches at Instow, Woolacombe and Saunton all easily reached. Bideford is excellent for a day out, with its working quays and heritage museum.
