This is a Wonderful place to stay. The garden is well equipped and beautiful. The cottage is spacious and has a very homely feel. Only problems I found was that the master bedroom mattress could do with replacing, the shower is very under powered and has no curtain so can't be used as a shower and the lounge is dark in the day but this is more due to the it being an old cottage and so having smaller windows. These aside the place itself is truly a chocolate box cottage. Well worth a look.

    Response from:

Hi Tony! Glad you enjoyed your stay at Whiteabury cottage but sorry it wasn't perfect. We strive for perfect! I just want to say a word about the mattress because I honestly don't know how to respond. We bought it at one of those fancy-schmancy mattress shops in Exeter --- and then purchased one of those "toppers" you see advertised on TV. That was expensive I can tell you! So- I thought we were good to go. As for the shower- I know, I know. Our area is famous for very low water pressure... and it has become worse as new homes are built. We don't even have enough pressure to run a sprinkler in the garden! Just one of the joys of rural life.
